Folding Fan by "Honinbo Kaiho"
10.00 $
Description
This refers to Rin Kaihō (りん かいほう), a Go player who won the Honinbo title in 1968 by defeating Sakata Eio.
This is one of the items from my father's collection, who was a fan of Shogi.
It is believed to have been purchased during the Showa era.
The frame is made of real bamboo, and the paper is sturdy Japanese washi.
The fan measures approximately 25 cm in length.
There are age-related stains on the folds. Although there is some deterioration, the box is also included. Overall, I believe the item is in good condition.
Please consider this as an antique item from the world of Shogi.
Thank you for viewing.
