Description
This is an achromatic objective lens with an effective diameter of D=80mm and a focal length of f=480mm (F6).
It originally came with the Vixen Shuttle Scope 80s.
The outer diameter was measured to be 82mm.
It is a 2-element air-spaced design, with the spacing adjusted by a traditional tin foil spacer.
When removed from the lens barrel, it was taped on the sides to prevent separation.
There was also a mark to indicate rotational position. (Image 2)
To indicate the front and back, 前, Front was written on the tape. (Image 3)
Visually, no scratches, fungus, or cloudiness are observed.
Upon close inspection with reflected light, a slight coating unevenness can be seen (Image 4), but it is not visible with transmitted light and appears to have no impact on use.
Ideal for DIY projects or replacement parts.
