Vintage, circa 1960's-1970's Navajo Sterling Silver Necklace featuring a large, high-grade Royston turquoise pendant on a 24-inch sterling chain. Purchased at the Santa Fe Plaza, this piece is a beautiful example of heavy-gauge Southwestern craftsmanship. Design & Craftsmanship: Gemstone: Large, natural Royston turquoise (7/8 x 1 3/16). Displays a striking green-to-blue transition with a rich, natural matrix. Settings: Classic Navajo sawtooth bezel with a twisted silver rope border and four decorative sterling drops. Pendant Weight: 18 grams (heavy gauge). Total Weight: 25 grams (including chain).
