Description
This belonged to my mother. I don't know who wrote it.
It was rolled up, but there are some lines on it.
It is slightly yellowed. There are no scratches, but the edges are creased.
*This is a phrase favored by Shoin Yoshida, a loyalist of the late Edo period (derived from works like Kōmō Yowa). It is generally understood to mean, One who aims to achieve great things has not yet eaten (i.e., is hungry).
