This was created by a carpenter using antique furniture and old folk house fittings.
The interior dividers are sized for A3 paper, and 5mm thick plywood fits snugly inside. I've also added retaining hardware.
Since it's made from lumber, it can be used not only as a frame but also as a tray or a sign.
