Vintage 1970s Vogue American Designer sewing pattern 1745 Albert Nipon fashion designer. Highly celebrated throughout the 1970s and 1980s for ultra-feminine silhouettes, high-end tailoring, and signature delicate details like the fine pin-tucking and ruffles for a chic clientele.  The Top: A semi-fitted, above-hip length blouse featuring a notched collar, narrow lapels, front and back pin tucks, a front-buttoned closing, and a bias self-ruffle trim. Sleeve variations include elbow-length or full-length sleeves gathered into a buttoned loop band. A self-belt holds in fullness at the waistline.  The Skirt: A pleated skirt available in an evening length or four inches below mid-knee. The front pleats into a self-lined yoke, and it includes side-seam pockets with a back zipper closure.
