Adapter for attaching a single-lens reflex camera body to a telescope for astrophotography, usable for both prime focus and eyepiece projection methods.
I used it attached to a Pentax SPF as shown in Photo 2, and also with a K-mount adapter attached to a Pentax MG as shown in Photo 3. This was around 1975-1979.
As shown in Photo 4, there are some minor scratches from tightening the eyepiece fixing screw. Otherwise, I believe it is in excellent condition with no noticeable scratches.
The purpose of the attachment shown in Photo 6 is unknown, but I surmise it is for screw-fixing to the telescope body (after removing the eyepiece holder) as shown in Photo 7.
There is no instruction manual and the case is in poor condition, but the adapter and attachment are in miraculously beautiful condition considering their age. How about it for those who own a PENTAX single-lens reflex camera?
