Rare find! Excellent condition for being from ca. 1950-1960, clean inside and out, minor tarnish on metal, but not noticeable. This bag is designed to stands up on its own, has a side zipper pocket on the inside and has a designer stamp in gold Verdi Made in USA. It is made with vinyl which was introduced to handbags in the 50's. To me, it has the look of a vintage Channel bag. The square pattern was indicative of the times as reflected in the modern art movement. And yes, I had so much fun modeling it with a designer coat from Canada.
