Description

This is an Iai-do sword. I believe it is a very good quality item. It is too good for me, so I would like to pass it on to someone who can appreciate its value. It comes with a sword bag (a sword stand is not included).

Overall length: approx. 104 cm, Blade length: approx. 70.5 cm, Handle length: approx. 24.5 cm

[Handle] Wooden, genuine ray skin, wrapped in dark green. [Tsuba] Dragon and cloud design, gold-plated tsuba. Dark green sageo (cord). With gold-colored shitodome (ornamental ring).

Both the blade and the saya (scabbard) are slender, and the sword moves swiftly (faster than my Iai-do sword with a groove). It feels too good for me...

The handle is dark green. The saya is black stone-like finish. This is an Iai-do sword that has been used for iaido practice. Of course, I think it can also be displayed for appreciation.

There is no looseness at the koiguchi (mouth of the saya). There is some slight looseness in the tsuba. There are some minor scuffs on the blade. There are small scratches on the saya (photo 14), but I personally think it is in beautiful condition.

As this is a used item, please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection or are overly sensitive.
