Rare vintage piece by French artist Lucien Neuquelman
This is an elegant ceramic figurine titled Man and Woman by Lucien Neuquelman (1909-1988), a renowned French painter and ceramic artist.
This item was originally introduced to Japan by the former prestigious company KAMEI GLASS OSAKA, which served as its official import agent.
The classic and warm design is inspired by 19th-century European gentlemen and ladies. It features Neuquelman's characteristic delicate color palette, reminiscent of pointillist paintings, with meticulous handcraftsmanship evident in details such as the lace pattern on the dress and the checkered trousers.
